We Are UGI: Spreading Holiday Cheer
10 Dec 2025
In addition to our commitment to safe and reliable service, UGI and its employees are dedicated to supporting the communities we serve. UGI employees live and work in these same communities and believe together we can make them stronger.
UGI employees have been busy volunteering to ensure their neighbors in need have a happy holiday season. The following includes just a glimpse of the impact our employees helped to create on the communities we serve:

- UGI employees recently volunteered with Valley Santa to wrap donated presents for 4,000 children throughout Luzerne County. Valley Santa is dedicated to providing toys to children in Luzerne County who would not otherwise have the opportunity to receive gifts during the holiday season.
- Employees generously donated presents to support a local family through Opportunity House, a nonprofit in Reading dedicated to providing security, stability, safety and community to clients. In addition to presents, employees also collected coats, shoes, socks, hats and gloves for the family.
- UGI continued its annual tradition of adopting the Back Mountain Head Start classroom. Employees generously provided each child with an outfit, coat, hat, and gloves which will be handed out by Santa during a classroom visit. In addition, a toy for each student was wrapped and sent home to be opened on Christmas Day. Members of Electric Union Local 262 generously provided toys and a donation to purchase coats for the students. In total, UGI employees helped spread holiday cheer to 24 children.

- UGI Utilities employees in the Lehigh office participated in a volunteer project to distribute more than 1,000 coats and other necessities donated to the Salvation Army Allentown through WFMZ and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Coat Drive. UGI employees helped community members carry their selected items, restocked the coat supply in the shopping area, and handed out blessing bags. Employees at the Lehigh office also participated in the Salvation Army Allentown Angel Tree program to provide 40 local children with gifts for the holidays.
- The holidays will be brighter for 19 children in the Allison Hill neighborhood of Harrisburg City this year due to generous gifts from UGI employees and our partnership with Wildheart Ministries – Love the Hill.

- Each year, the Salvation Army Lancaster Angel Tree program provides more than 1,200 children with gifts. Employees in UGI’s Lancaster office collected new toys, clothes, and gifts for 15 local children through the program.
Thank you to our employees for their commitment to supporting their communities, not only during the holidays, but all year long! Your efforts are Fueling Our Future.
